Tyrell Barnet had a musical gift from the time when he was very young He spent hours playing on a xylophone, and once built his own drum set using his mother’s pots and pans.

Schooling proved challenging for him, He found it increasingly difficult to sit still in class and listen when all around him, he could see, feel, and hear music. He spent hours listening to music and began mixing music for his friends. His eye for talent was legendary. He began to be the go to for local talent. His ability to pick a hit record and discover talent became wide spread. He soon gained the attention of an exec at Die Hard Record, Lamar Jefferson. Over the years Tyrell would be the driving force behind several hits distributed by the label. After a successful run with Die hard Records, Tyrell decided to follow his mentor when he created his imprint.
